Sonja is a gifted healer, Pilates practitioner, and one’s true ally. Through her expertise, perception, and guidance I have regained and rediscovered my body and how I had become stuck, unaware of constant tenseness, and cut off through various sports and other injuries, misalignments, and protective compensations. When I first saw Sonja two years ago, I could not walk up and down stairs because of knee problems. I had serious low back issues and shoulder impingements.

 

Over a number of years I had tried a wide range of traditional medical and alternative health approaches, but I had not found lasting recovery or analysis and solutions that made sense. Working with Sonja has given me the path I sought for so long, and along the way I have discovered new, pain-free movement patterns, balance, mobility, integration, relaxed tension-free use of my body and spirit, and better breathing patterns. I am back playing competitive and social tennis, and working on my game, which I love most of all.

Visit our inviting space situated above Boston's Boylston Street. Complete with Balanced Body equipment and pilates props, The Pilates Lab is outfitted with everything you need to maximize your private pilates programming.

 

The Lab proudly operates within The Collaborative, a space for holistic wellness developed by The Lab, Johnston Family Acupuncture, and Khalsa Chiropractic.
